POLISH MUSIC IN UKRAINE – 2025
KONCERTY
The Pro Musica Viva Foundation, based on a grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in cooperation with the philharmonics in Khmelnytsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Poltava, as well as the National Philharmonic of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Polish Institute in Kyiv, is organising a series of six concerts of Polish music in Ukraine in 2025. Works by Witold Lutosławski, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Wojciech Kilar, Mikołaj Piotr Górecki, Mieczysław Karłowicz and Grażyna Bacewicz will be performed. The Ukrainian orchestra will be conducted by Roman Rewakowicz, and the soloists will be Ukrainian pianists Dmytro Tavanets and József Örmény and violinists Lidia Futorska and Andriy Pavlov.
