ANDRIY HNATYSHYN (1906, Lviv Voivodship – 1995, Vienna) is a conductor and composer. He received the basics of his musical education at the M. Lysenko Higher Musical Institute in Lviv, where he studied with Stanislav Ludkevych, among others.

In 1934 he graduated from the Vienna Conservatory. From 1931, he was conductor of the St. Barbara Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Vienna. He wrote choral works, mostly religious (15 Liturgies), instrumental works, as well as two operas (Olena, Grandmother’s Adventure).
