Andrzej Jagodzinski Jazz Trio in Ukraine

On 7 and 8 June 2014. The Pro Musica Viva Foundation together with the Lviv Philharmonic has organised concerts featuring the Jazz Trio of Andrzej Jagodzinski, singer Agnieszka Wilczynska and the Lviv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. The trio will perform in the line-up Andrzej Jagodziński - piano, Adam Cegielski - double bass and Czesław Bartkowski - percussion.

The concerts took place on 7 June 2014 at the J. Drohobych Musical and Dramatic Theatre in Drohobych and on 8 June 2014 at the Concert Hall of the Lviv Philharmonic as part of the XXXIII International Music Festival "Virtuosi". In addition to Andrzej Jagodzinski's Piano Concerto in G minor, the programme included his arrangements of works by Krzysztof Komeda, Frederic Chopin and Polish folk melodies. The concerts were made possible thanks to the financial support of the City of Warsaw and the Union of Performing Artists STOART.
