On 24 October 2016 at 19:00, a concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence took place at the Concert Hall of the National Philharmonic Hall in Warsaw with the participation of the National Choir of Ukraine "DUMKA". The repertoire of the concert included a cappella choral works by Dmytro Bortnyansky, Artem Luka Vedel, Kyrylo Stetsenko, Valentin Sslvestrov, Yevhen Stankovych, Bohdana Frolyak, Krzysztof Penderecki and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, among others. The concert was organised by the National Cultural Centre and the Union of Ukrainians in Poland.
