Cappella Corale Varsaviana – tour Latvia, Lithuania

CONCERTS

In the first week of October 2018. The Pro Musica Viva Foundation organised a concert tour of the CAPPELLA CORALE VARSAVIANA Choir conducted by ROMAN REWAKOWICZ to cities in Latvia and Lithuania based on grants from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the City of Warsaw and ZAiKS. The programme of the concerts was filled with Polish a cappella choral music of the 16th - 21st centuries and included works by Wacław from Szamotuły, Mikołaj Gomółka, Grzegorz Gerwase Gorczycki, Feliks Nowowiejski, Juliusz Łuciuk, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Bartosz Kowalski, as well as the Lithuanian composer Vidmantas Bartulis and the Latvian composer Andrejs Jurjan. The concerts took place in Riga, Dyneburg, Vilnius and Kaunas in collaboration with the Kamer Choir, the Polonez Polish Club in Riga, the Polish Cultural Centre in Dyneburg, the Polish Institute in Vilnius and the Kaunas Philharmonic.
