Karol Szymanowski – 130th birth anniversary

CONCERTS

The Pro Musica Viva Foundation in collaboration with the Lublin Philharmonic organised a concert on 8 December 2012 dedicated to the 130th anniversary of Karol Szymanowski's birth, with the participation of the Lublin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Choir of the Catholic University of Lublin, the Galician Chamber Choir from Lviv, as well as pianist József Örmény, tenor Pavel Tolstoy and conductor Roman Rewakowicz. This concert brought together Polish and Ukrainian musicians. It was also a form of commemoration of the anniversary of Karol Szymanowski's birth, as well as another example of Polish-Ukrainian musical cooperation conducted by the Pro Musica Viva Foundation.
