Lutosławski in Russia

CONCERTS

In the Year of Lutosławski, the Pro Musica Viva Foundation organised 4 concerts featuring the music of the eminent Polish composer in 4 Russian cities: Belgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa and Nizhny Novgorod, with the participation of pianist Lukas Geniušas, winner of 2nd Prize at the 2010 Chopin Competition, and local symphony orchestras conducted by Roman Rewakowicz. The project was carried out in collaboration with the philharmonics of the cities mentioned and with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of the programme 'Lutosławski 2013 - Promesa', implemented by the Institute of Music and Dance.
