Lviv Piano Trio

CONCERTS

8 September 2013. The Lviv Piano Trio performed the last concert in a series of 3 concerts at the Stanisławowski Theatre in the Royal Lazienki Park in Warsaw. The previous concerts took place on 2 June and 25 August. The Lviv Piano Trio has existed since 1999. Its founder is the Lviv-born pianist Natalia Rewakowicz, who currently lives in Warsaw. The ensemble is co-founded by female performers from Lviv - violinist Marta Semchyshyn and cellist Olga Shutko. Their shared musical experience provides the performance cohesiveness of the Trio, whose repertoire includes both classical and contemporary music. The ensemble pays particular attention to relatively little-known Ukrainian music. Among the works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Mikhail Glinka, Frederic Chopin and Antonin Dvorak, the Lviv Piano Trio performs works by Ukrainian composers Myroslav Skoryk and Vasyl Barvinsky. The concerts are organised by the 'Pro Musica Viva' Foundation in cooperation with the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw and with the financial support of the City of Warsaw.
