POLISH MUSIC IN UKRAINE

CONCERTS

The Pro Musica Viva Foundation, based on a grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in cooperation with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine in Kyiv and the philharmonics in Khmelnytskyi, Poltava and Cherkasy, as well as The National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camerata" and the Polish Institute in Kyiv, is organizing concerts featuring Polish music in the context of world classics in 2024. Works by Stanislaw Moniuszko, Witold Lutoslawski, Krzysztof Penderecki, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Wojciech Kilar, Mikołaj Piotr Górecki, as well as Franz Schubert, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johannes Brahms will be performed. The Ukrainian orchestras will be conducted by Roman Rewakowicz, and the soloists will be Ukrainian virtuosos Dmytro Tavanets and Andriy Pavlov.
