9th Days of Ukrainian Music in Warsaw

DAYS OF UKRAINIAN MUSIC

The 9th DAYS OF UKRAINIAN MUSIC IN WARSAW will take place on 3, 5 and 10 September 2023. In the jubilee year of the 25th anniversary of the “Pro Musica Viva” Foundation, we continue to promote Ukrainian music in the deep conviction of the importance of introducing Ukrainian high culture to the Polish audience.
In 1863, the Minister of the Interior of the Russian Empire, Peter Valuyev, wrote: “the Malo-Russian language was not, is not, and cannot be”. Today, this philosophy of Ukrainian non-existence is continued by modern Russia with its aggression against the Ukrainian state. We are proving how wrong they are!

For the second time, we enjoy the trust of our FESTIVAL MAIN PARTNERS – Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and Most the Most Foundation. This year we have received another 3-year grant from the City of Warsaw – we will be able to invite you to our Festival also in 2024 and in 2025. We are supported by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in cooperation with the National Institute of Music and Dance, the the Society of Authors ZAiKS, the MAGOVOX Foundation and the Union of Performing Artists STOART.

This year we have the honour of cooperating with the National Forum of Music in Wrocław.
